We use the terms interchangeably. The difference is more in their use and purpose — printed folders have custom printing; presentation folders are the same but designed to showcase information in a formal meeting or presentation setting.

Yes — we offer a wide array of folder-with-pocket designs.

Folders with pockets offer numerous benefits for presentations and meetings. They provide a convenient and organised way to store and transport important documents, handouts and notes, and allow easy categorisation and separation of materials for quick access during meetings.

You can personalise folders with your company logo, brand colours and other design elements to create a professional, cohesive look. We also offer variable data printing for individual details like barcodes or QR codes.

Our most popular products are A4 display folders and A4 presentation folder designs. These folder-with-pocket designs are incredibly sought-after because they suit most conventional business documents.

A4 document folders are perfect for invoices, bills, flyers and leaflets. We also offer A5 folders — ideal for smaller paper items. Should neither suit, we can create custom sized folders for your specific needs.

Yes — folders can be ordered in different quantities to suit your needs, from small batches for personal use to large quantities for business purposes.

Digital printing and litho printing are both common for custom printed folders. The choice depends on design complexity, desired finish, and budget — our team will recommend the right fit.

Yes — folders are designed to be durable and long-lasting. Durability varies based on the materials used and intended purpose. Opting for higher-quality materials and finishes increases longevity; we recommend adding lamination for folders you intend to use repeatedly.

This varies between products but we can usually deliver within 3–7 working days. Your email confirmation will include an estimated delivery date. If you need an order urgently we offer priority delivery — get in touch for details.

PrintedFolders.co.uk offers free standard delivery to mainland England and Wales and the Scottish Lowlands. Additional charges apply for express delivery, international delivery and multi-address distribution — get in touch for a direct quote.

Yes — we can confirm the cost of delivery once the weight and dimensions are known. Note that additional customs charges may apply.

Yes — we can send to one or more addresses, either by Royal Mail or a tracked courier. There's an extra charge per delivery.

Yes — just let us know this is a requirement and we'll ensure the delivery note and packaging are completely unbranded. We never enclose invoices with our deliveries.

Most of our deliveries are sent using DPD, who provide a one-hour delivery time slot. We occasionally use other couriers, so if the tracking link and one-hour window matter, let us know and we'll route via DPD.

Yes — all our paper stocks are sourced from FSC-approved stockists. We recycle all waste paper and ink/toner cartridges, and our lithographic inks are 100% vegetable-based. See our Sustainability page for more.

All our paper stocks are fully recyclable, provided lamination is applied to a maximum of one side.

We'll contact FSC on your behalf to seek approval to print the logo. The claim relates to the paper being used (most commonly FSC recycled or FSC mix). Once permission is granted, our pre-press team adds the appropriate FSC logo and claim to your artwork and a PDF proof is sent to you for approval.

As many as you like. We print by mixing cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK) — from those four colours we can produce all the colours of the rainbow.

There's sometimes a reduced cost for black-only printing, but if you're having colour print you can include as many colours as you like at no extra cost. Additional cost only applies for Pantone colour — where a specific ink is used rather than creating the colour from the standard CMYK four-colour process.

Most of our printed products (excluding brochures) are printed on a single sheet of paper. We print on one side for single-sided printing, both sides for double-sided printing.

If you're ordering a product that will be folded and no print is required on the inside (e.g. document corners), or will enclose your product (e.g. box sleeves, belly bands, pillow boxes) these are usually printed single-sided — once the sheet is trimmed and folded or joined, you'll see print on all sides.

PDF proofs are sent by email for your approval as standard — no charge.

For digital and large-format jobs we can send a printed sample if required — there may be a small charge to cover costs.

For litho jobs we can send a printed proof via our Epson SureColour P7000 (calibrated with the litho presses), and can supply samples of paper and unprinted brochure mock-ups. There may be a small charge for this service.

No worries — our friendly sales team are on hand to talk you through the process without jargon. Our design team are available to help with artwork and our pre-press and production teams check quality at every stage.

Rest assured — your print run is in experienced hands.

These days there's very little difference in quality between the two methods — you'd be hard-pressed to tell which was used when examining a finished product.

Lithographic printing is cost-effective for larger runs and can accommodate sheet sizes up to B2.

Digital printing is cost-effective for smaller runs and is limited to A3 sheet size.

Our sales team will select the most suitable method — but if you have a particular preference for litho (e.g. Pantone colours are required), just let our team know.

Our large-format printers can print up to 3 metres in width with no limit on length. Large-format printing is used for banners, roller banners and printed boards.

PDFs are the preferred file format for printing; we can also work with InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop source files, JPEGs and TIFFs, and Microsoft formats like Word, Publisher and PowerPoint.

Because your folder is going to be die-cut it also needs a cutter guide — an outline or stroke in the shape of the finished design. See our Artwork Setup Guide for more information.

We do a free check of your artwork before printing and will contact you if we spot a problem. If you're unsure or need help, email or call and one of our studio team will be happy to advise.

You can upload files at checkout when placing your order, or email the artwork directly to Sales@PrintedFolders.co.uk with either your name or order number in the subject field.

If your files are too large to email or you're having problems uploading, we can provide a direct upload facility or supply you with FTP details. Alternatively you can use WeTransfer™, a free file-transfer service.

You'll receive a free PDF proof of your design so you can check for errors before going ahead with print. Hard-copy proofs can be supplied on request — just get in touch.

A proof is a print-ready document we send for your approval before printing. It's only sent after we've made our own checks on the technical aspects of your artwork — resolution, size and bleed.

Please check your proof thoroughly — when you approve it, that's what we print. It's your final opportunity to check before costs are incurred. Look carefully at spelling, grammar, image quality, logos and colours.

Yes — if you need a job with variable data, supply the data in a spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel or Open Office both work).

List the variables in separate columns with a heading at the top — e.g. for an address: Name, Surname, Address 1, Address 2, City, County, Postcode.

On the artwork, mark or highlight the areas that are going to be variable. If you have multiple images (such as maps), supply them as separate files — standard image formats are fine (PDF, JPEG, TIFF, EPS).
