Our presentation folders a4 size – what are the options?
Glued, interlocking or brochure folders
First of all, our personalised a4 folders are available in a range of styles, including glued (taped for extra strength) and interlocking. Both are available sent out flat or assembled (for an additional fee). If you don’t intend to use your printed folders immediately then it’s best to get flat, as they are easier to store.
We offer brochure type folders – which fold out to reveal 6 pages (3 page folder, front and back). Alternatively, we also print brochure folders where an actual full brochure can be stitched into the folder itself – perfect for estate agents, retail and presentations of all kinds!
Folder size
Personalised a4 folders don’t actually all come in exactly the same size for starters. All our a4 folders fit a4 documents of course – making them ideal for letters, stationery, bills, invoices, programmes, brochures and more!
But there are subtle size differences in our personalised a4 folders – which you can see on the diagrams featured on all our product pages.
Printed folder capacity
Not only is every personalised a4 folder a little different in terms of size, they also offer different capacities, depending on your needs. Some a4 folders don’t have an enhanced spine, so they have a smaller capacity.
But we offer folders with capacities of up to 20mm – ensuring that you can fit everything you need into your custom printed folder.
Presentation folders with pockets
Our personalised a4 folders offer different pockets to suit your needs! As well as standard pockets and flaps, we have curved pockets, angled pockets, big pockets, small pockets… all the pockets!
Not only that, we also offer custom printed folders with business card pockets – slots specifically designed to fit a standard business card supply. Our business folders make presentations easy – enclose your documents, store your smaller materials in the pockets and whip out business cards whenever you need from the dedicated business card slot.
Personalised a4 folders material
We recommend Silk 350gsm paper for our printed folders; this is because it offers some extra finish and durability without being too shiny and reflective. However, we know this isn’t for everyone so… as part of our personalised a4 folders range… here are some material options!
- Gloss – great for popping colour
- Uncoated / Premium uncoated – perfect for folders you need to write on
- Kraft – Kraft folders are extra eco friendly
- Recycled – recycled folders are great for a green brand
And if this wasn’t enough, you can also change the gsm (paper weights aka thickness) too!
Folder print options
Let’s talk colour – choose between CMYK (also called full colour), Pantone, black only or a combination thereof! You can even specify one side in colour and the other in black and white only.
And then there’s the question of where your design is printed. Our folder printing services are so detailed that you can choose front printing, back printing or both, and can even create your own printed pocket artwork too!
Folder printing finishing extras
Once you’ve chosen all the above, you can consider putting some finishing touches to your personalised a4 folder. You don’t have to, but you can add any of the following:
- Coloured foiling (also available in silver and gold)
- Spot UV
- Embossing
- Debossing
- Lamination
Laminated folders are essential if you want to have a solid colour coverage to your printed folder. We’d recommend gloss or matt lamination to help avoid cracks and marks.
